Qualifications

I like to consider myself as fairly versatile in the tech department (then again, nerve damage gets in the way of some stuff). I'm a pretty fast learner, but I have the most confidence in costuming and makeup due to my experience with visual arts and character design.

Now is probably a good time to mention I haven't actually seen Big Fish, but from what I've gathered, it's got a lot of fantasy-historical theming, which is right up my alley. Seriously, researching and designing historical fashion is actually one of my biggest hobbies. Of course, the job of the costume crew here is more to find pre-existing garments to use, but I think the skills translate.

If Google is to be trusted and we are sticking with the anachronistic setting somewhere between the 40s and 70s, I think I would definitely be able to help tie in the different eras and add that level of fantasy to it. While I don't really have any examples of designs specifically from those decades since I'm mainly a sucker for the late Victorian era, I know the process of researching eras and combining realism with fantasy and idealization.

I also have previous experience working with the makeup crew here, and some extremely previous experience with sound, along with other tidbits helping here and there when needed. Like I said, I am pretty versatile in that regard.

Can you tell I've been thinking about my DnD character a little too much?

In animation class we were told to repaint a 3D model of Charmander. I made a mistake.
